Even the bus has meaning, and hollywood is stuck recycling movies, collecting comic books and anime, and milking series till they lose their flavor. What you may have missed from the movie: 1. The most metaphorical scene is when they are splashing water to the crazy pissing guy. It summarizes the whole idea. CLUE: Water=Flood, Kims= Richer Pissing guy= Poorer And the dialog in that scene says a lot more about the film (rock foreshadowing, etc) 2. The arrangement of the poor family, everytime theyre eating is always the same, till second half comes. Order turned chaos. 3. Clothes are juxtaposed. Mrs Park"s closet vs poor"s second-hand relief clothes (scenes after flood. 4. Smell is a metaphor.

Strongest scene in the movie for me: When the poor father stabbed the wealthy father because he couldn"t take being called smelly anymore XD. Amazing story. This movie was so good! However my subs were bad, it was amazing. It"s interesting how the dad asks the son son if he has a plan but then later the dad says that the best plan is no plan at all. Congratulations to the team on their Oscar win. Truly a masterpiece. Movie is NUTS. the way it switches visuals and just escalates throughout whilst mixing genres is just ridiculous. The balancing act is wild. And it maintains its tone perfectly. It"s like a masterclass in filmmaking and it shows the potential cinema actually has. I even shed a tear in this movie. The whole thing is a mindfuck.

No matter what the Oscars is my 2019 Best Picture. Daaaaaaaamn. That"s all I got to say. 10/10 - girlfriend.
